๐HSSL 2025 Celebration Tournament Rules
Tournament format:
- Team composition: Each team consists of 3 players. No substitutions are allowed between matches.
- Match format: Matches are played in a Best-of-3 series. The first team to win 2 matches advances.
- Simple elimination: Teams are eliminated after their first loss (in B-O-3). The bracket progresses until one team remains.
Finals: The two remaining teams will compete in a Best-of-3 series to determine the champions.
Game settings:
- Game mode: 3v3 in custom matches
- Match duration: 2-minutes periods
- Match duration (finals): 5-minutes periods
- Draw: In case of a draw, 2m/period match is to be replayed. For finals, a 5m/period match is to be replayed.
Pauses: Teams are allowed 5 minutes in-between matches.
- If teams are from different regions, they will swap servers to their local regions in-between matches. Teams are expected to determine the starting team randomly (using a browser 1-6 dice, one team being even numbers and the other team odd numbers).
Player conduct:
- Sportsmanship: Players must exhibit respect towards opponents and officials. Unsportsmanlike behavior, including trash talk or harassment, might result in disqualification and a server ban.
- No exploits: The use of known glitches or exploits to gain an unfair advantage is prohibited.
- Fair play: Players are forbidden from intentionally disconnecting or stalling gameplay.
- Players disconnection: Player disconnection will cancel the game and lead to a rematch. If a player is repeatedly disconnecting on purpose to avoid a loss, tournament officials need to be notified. They will judge the situation accordingly.
Disputes:
- Any disputes are to be raised immediately after the match to mods/admins. Their decision will be final.
Prize:
- Prize (crown and exclusive tournament title) will be award to the champion team and announced on the server. A special temporary Discord role will also be awarded.
Additional information:
- All participants must register their team and agree to the tournament rules before participating.
- The tournament organizers reserve the right to modify rules if unforeseen circumstances arise.
- Tournament organizers might spectate some random matches for content creation. Finals will be organized live with the tournament officials.
- Tournament organizers reserve the right to use images and video featuring players' avatars for social media and promotional purposes.
