As a gaming platform dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive community for players of all identities and backgrounds, Paidia Gaming is proud to support The Trevor Project and share their information with you. We recognize that LGBTQ+ youth face unique challenges when it comes to mental health and well-being, and we believe that everyone deserves access to resources and support that can help them thrive. By sharing information about The Trevor Project and their life-saving crisis intervention and suicide prevention services, we hope to raise awareness and encourage our community to take action and make a positive difference.
What is The Trevor Project?
The Trevor Project is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. Every year, more than 1.8 million LGBTQ youth suicide. Trevor provides free, secure crisis counseling available 24/7 where young people already spend their time: phone, chat, and text. They also run TrevorSpace, an international safe-space social networking site for young people, and work to prevent suicide through education, research, and advocacy. Host a charity tournament
It is very common for Tournament Organizers to run tournaments with donations going towards charity. There are various ways you can run a charity tournament right here on Paidia:
- You can donate the prize pool for the tournament to the charity on behalf of the winner
- Collect donations from players and spectators by crowdfunding on your tournament page. Users can donate any amount to your tournament page by using this feature
- Host a stream and collect donations during the tournament

Host a charity stream and Fundraise on Tiltify
If you're a streamer looking for a way to make a difference, hosting a charity stream for The Trevor Project is a great option. By setting up a donation link and promoting your stream to your community, you can encourage your viewers to donate to a good cause while enjoying your gameplay. You can also add alerts or incentives for reaching certain donation milestones.
Examples could be:
- Giving a shoutout to everyone who donates over $10 on stream
- Create a custom emote for your channel and give it to everyone who donates on stream
