The holiday season is in full swing! Here are some of our favorite games to play with the entire family regardless of age!

5) Party Animals


This cute and cuddly party game is filled with adorable animals and pure chaos! Different modes for all kinds of fun, there’s a full roster of animals your friends and family can play. Team up or go solo while you kick, punch, and go into an intense match of tug-of-war for gummy bear. With over a dozen unique maps and some comical items to secure your win, this is a game that creates an enjoyable time with family.

Party Animals is available on Steam and Xbox Game Pass.

 

4) Overcooked

  Overcooked is the ultimate couch co-op that tests everyone’s chef skills. Players must complete meals to serve hungry customers while also maintaining a steady cycle of cleaning and cooking to earn as many coins as possible. There’s over 28 different levels in the base game with 6 more in the DLC. The more complex the kitchen level is, the more difficult it is to complete the meals! You can have up to 4 players and if you feel you want more characters, more recipes, and more chaos, you can look into the sequel Overcooked 2.

Overcooked is available on Steam, Switch, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.

 

3) Super Mario Bros. Wonder

 

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the latest Super Mario game to launch on the Nintendo Switch console. A side-scrolling platform game where players can play as Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Daisy, Toad, Toadette, Nabbit and Yoshi. The gang comes together to go on a quest to protect the Wonder Flower and the Flower Kingdom from the series most iconic villain Bowser. Super Mario Bros. Wonder brings new power-ups including turning characters to an elephant and the Wonder Flower bringing pipes and stage items to life. In addition to the new gameplay, players can do local couch co-op with up to 4 players so the whole family can enjoy!

2) UNO

 

It’s the classic card game in virtual form. Uno is an exciting time for the family as betrayals are made with each reversal and pull +4 card. The goal is to clear all the cards from your hand but be careful! If you don’t call out Uno, the other players in the group can pounce on the chance and you’ll have to draw an extra card. You can play by the traditional rule set or you can play in a customizable rule set.

Uno is available on Xbox, PlayStation, App Store, and PC. And of course you can purchase the physical card set!

 

1) Super Mario Party

 

 Super Mario Party is a classic party game where your whole family can hop on the game board and have a great time. With a traditional turn-based format, players roll the dice and move across the board while playing mini-games to win stars. The player with the most stars at the end of the board wins! A wide range of Mario characters are also available to play including new characters like Diddy Kong, Pom Pom, Goomba, and Monty Mole all making their appearances as playable characters. Also included in the Nintendo Switch Membership’s catalogue is Super Mario Party 3 is part of the retro games library.
